We're back in full effect this week and ready to knock out our week 8 games of MPL Predictions. Ethan with a bit of a stunning loss last week is going to need to get it done against Sully and his undefeated Vikings if he hopes to stay in the playoff race. I've also got a pretty big upset special on the horizon for this week, so stay tuned for that. I've also got a brief rundown of a pretty big matchup between Cowboy's Packers and Wade's Bucs. Without further delay, lets get down to it

Week 8
Season XV RECORD: 44-14
Obmij76 Raider88dc
Remo Wolf

Raider and his Saints have had it pretty easy for the majority of the year. This game could decide if he wins his division or not. Jim is going to need to pull out a big win here if he has hopes to snagging his division away from Shut Down. At the end of the day, I'm really not seeing Jim and the lowly Chiefs knocking off Raider and those championship Saints. Expect this one to keep one's interest though

Raiders down Chiefs 27-14

Remo is still looking for that first win. Will he get it against wolf and this pesky Lions team? It's not looking too likely. Both teams suck, but Wolf has probably shown a bit more to this point in the season. Gonna have to go with Stafford and company in this one

Lions down Browns 20-13

Shut-Down-D NeverDie
Tate Killa Kam

Never Die continues his journey to a postseason appearance in the Atlantic conference while Shut Down tries to get some consistency going with the Redskins. I'm wondering if this one is even going to be a game after the first half, honestly. Despite being tied for the division, I think it's fair to say Shut Down has disappointed to this point in the year. Rolling with Manning and company here

Colts over Redskins 28-16

Interesting matchup here. Neither team is really in position for the postseason as Killa Kam and his Falcons would need a perfect finish to have a chance. Tate has seemed to be playing better of late, but I'm really liking Kam better in this one especially having the superior team. Matt Ryan and company get busy

Falcons handle Raiders 27-13

Sully Ethan
Wade Cowboy

Coming off a devastating defeat to Gator's Patriots, Ethan will look to keep his playoff hopes alive as he clashes with Sully and his 7-0 Vikings. Two fairly evenly matched teams with fast defenses and even faster offenses. Throw in two top owners going at it and this one will certainly be one to watch. Because of Ethan's inconsistencies this season, it is hard for me to say he will knock off Sully in this one. I expect a nice back and forth meeting, but I expect the Vikings to be 8-0 in the end

Vikings beat Eagles 27-21

Wade probably has revenge on his mind as Cowboy foiled a great stretch run by shutting Wade out in the first round of the playoffs. His task gets even tougher as he rolls with a worse team in the Bucs and gets to face an elite squad in the Packers. Cowboy has made quick work of many of his opponents this season, but I expect him to struggle a bit more in this one. Still, I can't imagine how Cowboy loses this one to Wade and the lowly Bucs

Packers down Bucs 24-17

Superpunk Nvrquit
Big Boss Bubba

Nvrquit just hasn't been able to get it going all year with those Bengals. Superpunk on the other hand is trying to keep his slim playoff hopes alive and shouldn't have any trouble doing that this week

Chargers blast Bengals 27-6

Big Boss has had an insanely up and down season. You never really seem to know what you are going to get from him and those Broncos. Outside of the beating he took from Cowboy, Bubba and his Titans are probably the class of the Pacific. I don't expect him to struggle too much against Boss and the Broncos

Titans handle Broncos 28-10

MZ Dnyce
Jayramball Readywhenever

MZ has gotten a wrap for not having to take on the stiffest of competition so far this season. This is his chance to make a statement as he takes on Dnyce and that beastly Ravens defense. This is a very interesting matchup as both owners have hopes of elite status. However I really don't like MZ and the 49ers a whole lot against this dominant Ravens defense. It's gonna be good for sure, but I expect the Ravens to come out on top

Ravens silence 49ers 23-14

Ready continues to disappoint as he comes off a 24-14 loss to Shady's Cardinals in week 7. He has a chance to get that game back as he takes on Jayram and those terrible Rams. I really don't think the Rams stand much of a chance, but stranger things have happened

Cowboys smash Rams 24-9

Lokidoki Coach Shadez
Goofy Gatorsin

This is maybe a warmup game for Loki and his Dolphins before entering the final division stretch run. I don't like Shadez chances at all this week with a Bears team that has really had a hard time to get anything going this season

Dolphins own Bears 28-7

Gator is coming off a huge win against Ethan's Eagles and gets an opponent that is playing as bad as anyone right now. Goofy is still searching for that first win and apparently has not been able to figure out Carolina all season long. Will this week be different? I doubt it

Patriots down Panthers 27-10

Kevmack Blu Pun
Psychonut SteelJake

This could very well be the most interesting matchup of the week. Blu Pun is looking to take some control in his playoff destiny while Kevmack is all but trying to avoid elimination from this week on. Kev has one of the top offenses in the league this season, but has been pretty bad on defense. It's pretty much been the opposite for Pun and the Jags. Who gets it done? Gonna have to roll with Pun to force Kev into some mistakes and take advantage against the porous Seahawks defense

Jaguars down Seahawks 26-17

Psychonut has had a pretty bad season with the She-Men while Steeljake is trying his hardest to sneak into the postseason. Pschonut doesn't really have much to play for and will likely struggle quite a bit against this Steelers defense. Steel Jake gets it done

Steelers beat Giants 24-13

Steph Boomer
Trusion Shady

You ready for it? ****UPSET SPECIAL**** I know, I know. We need more of these. And I promise they will come. Steph is one of those owners who you don't quite know what to expect from week in and week out. However, she has a solid Texans squad this season, has had some solid wins, and gets Boomer and his Jets who are limping into the game coming off a stunning 27-10 loss to Tate and his Raiders. This one has the making of it. Will Boomer bounce back from that devastating defeat? I said "no".

Texans over Jets 20-14

*Game already played*

Trusion and his Bills handled Shady and his Cardinals 42-17 in the desert
