Welcome to the week 5 edition of MPL Game of the Week. We're in week two of play outside of the division and we have a good game this week between a division leader and another team looking to stay in the race for their own division. The Jaguars are 3-1 on the season and come in riding a two game win streak after their week two loss to the undefeated Texans. They travel to Buffalo to play the Bills, also 3-1, who are coming off their first loss of the season. Big game for both teams as the Jaguars look to keep pace with Houston and the Bills need to start winning as their schedule is brutal down the stretch.
The Jaguars (Leopard)

OFFENSE
The Jaguars have one of the most balanced offenses in the league. They can beat you through the air with Gabbert and a good stable of weapons, but also have MJD, who is good for about 125 every game. If they get a lead, look for them to pound the Bills to death with the run game. If Buffalo can keep it close, Gabbert can put up some good numbers. Leopard is a very skilled offensive player.
Key Offensive Players:
QB - Blaine Gabbert HB - Maurice Jones-Drew
DEFENSE
Leopard is giving up a lot more yards and points than he has in past MPL seasons. The more realistic DB coverage and harder defense of Madden 12 seems to have really taken a toll. His offense has picked up the slack but he faces a tough task in week five trying to shut down a great Bills offense. Buffalo is more dangerous through the air than on the ground. The linebackers and secondary will need to play great in this one.
Key Defensive Players:
Jaguars LB Core DB - Rashean Mathis
The Bills(BFRC)

OFFENSE
The Bills offense imploded in week four in their first loss of the season. They face an equally tough task this week against the Jaguars. The Bills offense mostly revolves around Fitzpatrick and his great stable of weapons. But Leopard is great in manual coverage and guessing where the ball is going. Madden 12 is a lot more open than 11 though, if he picks his spots, BFRC can throw the ball deep and have some success in this one.
Key Offensive Players:
WR - Steve Johnson HB - Fred Jackson
DEFENSE
Statistically the Bills defense is ranked much better than the Jags. Like Leopard, BFRC can play some strong manual defense and cover passes pretty well. It will just be a question of how well the Bills defense can do against the run. It might be the deciding factor in this one.
Key Defensive Players:
DB - Jairus Byrd Bills Defensive Line
Key Matchup:
VS
C - Brad Meester DT - Kyle Williams
The key to this game will be the Jaguars run game and for them to have success, Meester will have to handle DT Kyle Williams, who is a beast on the middle of the line. If Williams has a great game, that's bad news for the Jaguars offense.
Key Matchup:
VS
LB - Shawne Merroidman versus T - Eugene Monroe
Assuming the Bills can at least somewhat contain MJD, they'll need to pressure Gabbert or he can kill them. Pressure is the key in Madden 12, if you don't generate any then you're toast. The Bills defensive line is not great at getting to the QB alone, they'll need help from Merriman.
Prediction:
I am think we will see a big Jaguars win here. Leopard should come out and get his run game going. The Bills are too one dimensional on offense to have a ton of success against a good pass defender like Leopard unless he just haves a terrible day on the sticks. The only way this is close is if the Bills can get a good run game going to make the Jaguars defense play honest.
Jaguars 31 -- Bills 16
