After a 2 week absence due to me forgetting about the segment week 8 & just being too lazy week 9, we are here for the last game of the regular season’s GOTW! If you saw this at the beginning of the season, you’d be like “why are the Packers in a game of the week, they suck”. Not anymore, they have a new owner and since Takethat has taken over he’s given the Pack a win & gave the formerly unbeaten Cowboys their first loss. Also, this could have some implications for the wildcard situation for the Pacific Conference.
The Packers (Takethat)
OFFENSE
Not many people know about takethat’s offense, and personally I haven’t seen him play with the Packers. However he is a very smart player and has gained good ability on the sticks with his experience in the lobbies of Madden 08. He’ll look to air out the ball & when the defense is off balanced he will pound it up the middle.
Key Offensive Players:
Brett Favre Donald Driver
DEFENSE
Decent defense, but he is susceptible if he is caught off guard when blitzing. Controls variety of players on defense and will switch to a guy to lay the big hit on the ball carrier. Good run defense overall, so the air attack will probably be the way the Pats have to go.

The Patriots(Dontcheeze)
OFFENSE
The Patriots have been under scrutiny recently over the fact that their whole offense is said to be Randy Moss. However, this has been somewhat proven false, but Randy Moss is always the man to make the big play for this offense. Tom Brady needs to stay alert and get rid of the ball when he feels the pressure. The Patriots WRs better have some good stamina as they will need to be on the field for most of the game this week.

DEFENSE
The Patriots have a talented, but slow defense. Their front 7 will mix up blitz schemes to try to put pressure on the QB, while Asante Samuel will be left to guard the main playmaker on the offensive side of the ball. If the Patriots want to take this game, they will need to find the perfect balance of blitzing and leaving guys in coverage.

Key Matchup:

Randy Moss versus Al Harris
It will be primarily up to Al Harris, as well as a safety deep, to stop Randy Moss from making big plays. This is a difficult battle for Harris because Randy moves all over the field, I’ve even seen him up at the fullback position. So Al will have to find Randy all game and hope to shut him down.
Outcome:
This being the last Game of the Week for the regular season, we should take a look back to some of the other great games on paper that didn’t pan out as well as they looked like they would. Lets all have a great playoffs, off season, and most importantly lets all have a great Madden 09! Oh yeah, here’s the score for this game.
