1. Coach MZ has ran the ball very effectively with Frank Gore leading all rushers with 816 yards after only 5 games...Frank Gore will be MPL's leading rusher at the end of the season..
Sully - I think so, Gore is an absolute beast both in real life and in the game, and MZ seems to be using him enough where you know he's going to get the carries it takes.
Dnyce - Fact, I expect more of the same from MZ, even though he has some weapons in VD and Josh Morgan and Crabtree he has nobody to get it to them. The niners have a fairly easy schedule from here on out might have some trouble with the Jags and Ravens out of conference but his best offensive games have come in conference and he gets to play those owners 3 more times. I predict a 1500 yards season from gore along with a rushing title.
Obmij76 - Fact - He has built himself quite a cushion in the rushing yards category so it'd be a surprise if he fell off so far that he'd lose the rushing title. He does have some tough defenses along the way with the Ravens and Jags but at the same time, he put up a buck 90 against Ready's Cowboys. As long as MZ keeps entering stats every week, Gore wins the rushing title going away.
2. The Chargers with a 2-3 record have been the biggest disappointment in the MPL this season.
Sully - I'd have to agree with that. Superpunk finished off last season really strong, and had a lot of momentum going in, unfortunately he had to play me and neverdie.
Dnyce - Fiction, I kinda expected this from SP he is a very good coach, but he probably has the hardest schedule in the MPL...I think that the Broncos(boss) and Jaguars(pun) were expected to win their divisons and are currently in 3rd place are bigger disappointments.
Obmij76 - Fiction. This is a tough one since we're not even midway through the season. Superpunk is in a tough division with Wade and Sully while his out of division schedule saw him lose to former MPL champ Trusion and a 3 win Neverdie Colt team. I think he'll be 6-3 heading into the 2nd round of division games so I wouldnt say he's the most disappointing this season.
3. Chris Johnson will have 100+ rushing yards against the Green Bay Packers, in what is the biggest game on the week 6 schedule.
Sully - I think so. Cowboy has been dominating people but he's shown that good players can put up points against him, even if it's cowboy winning the shootout
Dnyce - Fiction, The packers have been down right dominant. They have very fast outside linebackers and good tackling CB's which is the key to keeping CJ inside and away from the big play. The Packers have given up an average of only 14.8 points per game and has only given up 100 yards to one team all season.
Obmij76 - Fiction. Anything is possible but I just dont see it. Cowboy knows what to expect in that game and he has the stick skills to manually shut down the running game of the Tennessee Chris Johnsons. Ethan only rushed for 56 combined yards with his talented backs, Trusion managed 80 yards with Lynch but Trusion has the skill to keep Cowboy honest against the pass. Bubba has been chirping recently about trying to get respect for his players and his game...well this is the game to show he has the skills to be in the MPLs upper echilon.
4. If the Vikings can beat the high powered offense of the Indianapolis Colts week 5....Coach Sully will go undefeated again.
Sully - Nah, I still have like 4 tough games left, I probably won't win them all, but I'm sure as h e double hockey sticks going to try. 20 games in a row now suckers!
Dnyce - Fiction, sully has a very difficult schedule with the Eagles(ethan), Bills(trusion), Chargers(s-punk), and Tampa Bay(wade). While I do think Sully has the better team and is a better player, I just have a feeling he will have a slip up one of those games. It could be an AP game of fumbles or just one of those madden hates me days but he will not go undefeated
Obmij76 - Fiction. No disrespect to Neverdie but he's not the most talented player left on Sully's schedule. A win here would be big but by no means would it guarantee another undefeated season. He still has to deal with Ethan, Trusion, Wade and Superpunk. I wouldnt be surprised to see him end the season with 2 losses.
